Brandon Flowers

Looks like the lead singer of The Killers has decided to take it solo. This is a pretty interesting move for the singer who's accomplished some pretty big things with his original group. Day & Age was by no means their best album but it certainly had its moments. However, after listening to the single released fairly recently this album entitled "Flamingo" may turn some heads. Summer 2010

Hey gang,

It's been quite awhile. I've finished school and am currently looking for a job. I leave for South Africa in about a week for the World Cup. I have no idea what to make of that fact. Other interesting things going on this summer: surgery on my shoulder, finishing unpaid service to the community for my scholarship and lots of listening to music. I've been trying to keep up with everything thats been coming out lately and theres a lot I want to post. Right now I decided to listen to a throwback from last year. Headlights - Wildlife which I remember being really awesome when I first listened to it. I believe I picked it up at WDOM - Providence College's radio station where I **used** to DJ.... sigh. Listening to it now I'm realizing how much of a killer this album really is. Soft, quiet and pretty powerful. Definitely an album you'll be abe to listen to from front to back and have no problem with. This is pretty impromptu but I figure it might be a good way to get me thinking about writing down my musical experiences in a more formal manner. Hope everything's been okay with you.
